Killer fumes(Smoke the Aftermath)

According to a report i saw these morning on how a whole family lost their lives due to excessive inhalation of the generator exhaust called "Smoke"in Ijede area of Ikorodu. This smoke is called Carbon monoxide. There are so many cases that have occurred in the past and yet they are still happening. The simple fact is that We Dont Learn. Carbon monoxide causes adverse effect in humans by combining with hemoglobin to form Carboxyhemoglobin(HbCo)in the blood. This prevents hemoglobin from releasing oxygen in tissues, effectively reduCing the  oxygen-carrying capacity of the blood. It causes dizziness, headaches, hypoxic injury, neurological damage and even death. Automobiles, generators, electrical machines etc generate these deadly smoke.                Avoid placing generators especially the exhaust mouth of the generator close to the window either parlour, kitchen or bedroom.                                                              I advise everyone its not compulsory one sleeps with generator light on if you must ensure its safe and your family is safe.        Thank you.
