Dispose Properly or Tear that Recharge Card after Use

According to a report I found online, it was discovered that many people who load recharge card on their phones for one reason or the other dont dispose off the used cards properly. As a matter of fact some dump them on the roadside, some inside public buses and so on. The new trend criminals use is that they pick up used recharge card and drop them at the site of Operation Intentionally. Police pick up these card and use it to trace the last person who used it.  Then the question  is why a used recharge card used by you or anybody else is found at the scene of an armed robbery operation.
