Beware mouthwash can cause Oral Cancer

Enter any upscale pharmacy and what you are likely to see on the front desk are bottles of assorted mouthwash with detailed explanation on how to use them. Of course, dental health specialists prescribe them when necessary and like other medications are meant to be used under the supervision of a physician. A dentist  Dr Mabel Philips says use of mouthwash indefinitely can do more harm than good. Yes your breath feels fresh after usage but trust me. in few minutes of hours the bacteria returns. Most mouthwashes contain alcohol and dries your mouth and makes it conducive for bacteria to thrive. Again ,alcohol and smoking has been linked to Oral Cancer. Mouthwashes containing alcohol increases the risk of developing Oral Cancer when used regularly. "Mouthwash is also a drug medication".
The bottom line is "If you have to use mouthwash regularly then there is a problem visit a Dentist. And if you must use mouthwash sparingly, it must be under the supervision of a  competent physician.
