In my earlier posts I gave out steps on how to care for your eyes. No doubt eyes are the window to the world. But they also indicate a status quo of your inner health. Check out these below :

Yellowness : Most of us don't know that yellowness in the white of the eyes can signify liver trouble. But do you also know that yellowish eyelids can be a sign of high cholesterol . Your eyes are the window to the world. It's important that you take care of them. Many people care less for their eyes except there is a problem. That is why many people today have eye sight problems especially when they are aging. Here are a few steps that you can do to care for your eyes :

* Computer- Try not to spend so much time looking at your computer screen.
* Wear goggles when appropriate. Be sure to wear goggles or other eye protective wear when working with chemicals or any place with harmful airborne particulates. Minimize the transmission of harmful particulate matter into eye region.
* Do not read in dim light. Reading in dim light can cause eye strain but will not damage your eyes. If your eyes feel tired, stop for a while and take a break.
* Do not look at a bright light directly. Never focus your eyes on the sun directly, as it can damage your eyes.
* Exercise your eyes -  and  relax them
